Anti-Trump Rally

Wednesday, November 9th I went downtown Syracuse to an Anti-Trump Rally where a handful of people spoke out of over 100 people about not liking the election results or what they thought was bad about our president elect: Donald Trump. The Center For Community Alternatives, The Syracuse Peace Council, and a few other organizations were there had signs stating their positions. One of the reasons people were angry was because Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by almost 1 million votes, even know Donald Trump got close to 60 more electoral votes. One person spoke about immigration and made the point that everyone that lives in the United States of America was at one time an immigrant, also someone related the abolitionist movement to today's racism. The event lasted for about an hour.

This is a video my mom broadcasted live from the protest.
